In 2022, SageTech Medical were thrilled to have been chosen to take part in Bupa’s eco-Disruptive programme, working alongside ‘Squad 2’ in a combined effort to showcase our innovative circular economy solution for the capture and recycling of waste volatile anaesthetic gases in a bid to win an investment from Bupa.
The programme, which first began in 2021, aims to find and support sustainable, scalable start-ups and innovative solutions that will improve people’s health and the health of the planet.
SageTech Medical was announced as 1 of 6 global finalists, chosen from over 250 sustainable technology start-ups worldwide. As a result, we are currently trialling our gas capture machines in the Cromwell Hospital in London, working alongside Mehnuhlik Lynch and Daryal Begley. With so many innovative, sustainable solutions being identified by the eco-Disruptive project, Bupa are sure to deliver a significant and positive impact to improve the health of our planet.
